WHO CAN USE THESE SKIN CARE SERVICES?
Anyone located in Maryland and Virginia with non-emergency skin related concerns over 14 years of age; those who are ages 14-17 require parental/guardian consent.
WHEN DO YOU OFFER APPOINTMENTS?
We have daytime, evening, and even weekend skin care consultations available. If you do not see a time that works for your schedule, contact us to see if we can accommodate you after hours. We pride ourselves on convenience for you.
WHAT IS THE COST OF THE APPOINTMENTS AND HOW DO I PAY FOR THEM?
We offer free consulations for initial and follow up appointments. A $20 charge is applied to your account to hold your appointment for your initial consultation, and the funds will be applied toward your purchase after your consultation with your licensed health care provider. Approvals are typically made unless you have a contraindication to therapy (such as a drug allergy to the medication). If your request is not approved by the health care provider, you will receive a full $20 refund. We accept major credit cards and payments from health savings/flexible savings accounts.
ARE YOUR SERVICES COVERED BY MY INSURANCE?
We are considered an out-of-network provider, and insurance plans often cover part of our services. We will furnish invoices for you to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please contact your insurance company to learn about your specific coverage for telehealth services. Questions to ask are: Do I have out-of-network benefits? What is the deductible? Have I met the deductible?
HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY CONSULTATION?
After scheduling an appointment, an email will be sent to you with our consent forms, skin care questionnaire, and credit card information. Our providers will review all of these forms along with the 3 images of the areas of concern within 24 hours of submission. At the dedicated appointment time we will review your skin concerns and outline treatments goals.
You will need to download the app to your device for the video appointment.
WILL I STILL NEED TO BE SEEN FOR AN IN-OFFICE APPOINTMENT?
Our providers will advise you if further in-person treatment is necessary with a local dermatologist. Our services do not replace your local dermatologist for annual skin cancer screenings and examinations.
WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY MEDICATION DELIVERY?
Please allow 3-5 business days for delivery. Prescriptions are processed in 1-2 business days.
WHAT IF I AM NOT SEEING IMPROVEMENT IN MY SKIN?
You are unique and respond to medications in your own way. We offer unlimited support from our licensed healthcare professionals and encourage all of our clients to take advantage of our free follow up appointments as scheduled with our providers.
